Where Do You Enjoy Smooth Jazz?
In 2019, I attended eight jazz events and have seen so many artists that I cannot even recall them all, but one thing is for sure, each event was a unique and rewarding experience. As 2019 draws to a close, Destin Smooth Jazz is planning an even bigger and better 2020. We are not just focused on the huge superstars of jazz, but the new and emerging artists destined to be superstars. What’s even better, we are bringing you some of the hottest acts in Smooth Jazz at what we believe is a great value. This year we heard from Dominque Hammons, Chris Godber, Keydo Starr, Gino Rosario, Chris Snowden, Eric Lampley, Noah Hall, Guitarist Big D, Paula Atherton and in a few weeks, Dee Lucas and Light Brown Lyrics.
Kicking off 2020, we will have one of the hottest jazz guitarists and producers in Smooth Jazz, Adam Hawley taking to the stage at the Ft Walton Beach Civic Auditorium on January 11th. In February we commemorate the life and music of Bob Marley and introduce to the area reggae greats Mystic Vibrations who have developed a huge reggae following along the east coast especially in the Myrtle Beach and Columbia, S.C. areas. As we roll into the spring and summer we are lining great events and will introduce a series everyone is sure to enjoy…that’s all I can tell you right now. Stay tuned we are determined to make the Panhandle – #FloridaJazzCentral. Most importantly, we are not just running a business, we are building a family. We are all about building relationships and getting to know the fans of Smooth Jazz in the local area and those who have chosen to travel to the Destin/Ft Walton Beach area to support the art and lifestyle of Smooth Jazz.
Don’t forget to get your tickets to The Smooth Jazz Holiday Luncheon on December 21st with Dee Lucas and special guest Light Brown Lyrics at https://www.eventbrite.com/e/smooth-jazz-holiday-luncheon-tickets-79484798171. When someone asks, “Where do you enjoy Smooth Jazz?” We hope your response will be, “With Destin Smooth Jazz!” Please help us spread the word and use the hashtag – #DestinSmothJazz in your social media posts on music and entertainment.
BTW – We will soon launch a community calendar to post your local organization, sorority, fraternity, and other community events to help take the guesswork out of your event plans.
