We’re Back – Nathan Mitchell

Nathan Mitchell was prepared to perform in May 2020 as part of our 1^st Anniversary Event. When we contacted Nathan about performing this year, he was elated because of the positive vibes and love he receives on the Gulf Coast. Nathan brings a high-energy performance that will give you memories to cherish for years to come.  He developed a huge following with his mesmerizing solo performances, and collaborations with Pieces of a Dream, Najee, Jazmin Ghent, Marion Meadows, and Gerald Albright.  Now, you have the opportunity to see him backed by another great band, in an intimate setting, with under 100 attendees.  Nathan Michell is a continuum of our dedication to bring the best and hottest emerging stars in Smooth Jazz to the Ft Walton Beach area.

Currently, we are arranging other live events for June 19^th and September 18^th, which is Jazzy Ray’s 60^th birthday celebration.  We are planning for a great show and party, inside a great new venue, A Touch of Class.  This new venue provides a convenient and comfortable location in Ft Walton Beach and they are slated to offer a full bar and great food for your experience.   We could easily just through together a show, but we want you to have a memorable DSJ experience.

DSJ embraces and promotes performances by emerging artists in intimate settings in the Destin/Ft Walton Beach area.  We believe, building a stronger community requires supporting and participating in the arts.  We are avid supporters of live music and emerging artists.  DSJ creates new musical collaborations and experiences with established and emerging stars for your musical enjoyment and cultural enrichment.  Join our jazz family, and you too will find, “It’s more than the music”.
